Veneers in Allen TX can Cover Stains, Cracks, Chips, and Bring Back Your Confidence

Our veneers in Allen, TX are an excellent way to improve the appearance and functionality of your smile. They are thin custom-made shells typically made of porcelain or composite resin that completely cover your teeth. This gives your teeth a natural-looking improvement that blends seamlessly with your natural teeth. This custom veneer gives patients the opportunity to choose their ideal color, shape, and size for their new smile.

Types of Veneers
The two most common types of dental veneers are porcelain and composite resin. Porcelain veneers are extremely durable and look just like your natural teeth. This is the more expensive option to improve your smile, however, they will likely last your entire life. If this seems like a worthy investment for your smile, our porcelain veneers may be right for you. Getting porcelain veneers needs to be completed in two visits because the custom shells are created at a laboratory and then delivered back to Dr. Kim to be applied.

Composite resin veneers are more affordable, though they may need to be replaced more often than porcelain veneers. Composite veneers are also applied directly to teeth rather than being made in a laboratory. Dr. Kim will mold the material onto your teeth and the procedure would be done in just one visit.

Talk to Dr. Kim about dental veneers if your teeth are:

● Stained or discolored
● Crooked or misshapen
● Spaced out
● Broken or chipped

How It's Done
You will typically need to come into our office twice to complete your treatment for our Allen TX veneers. The first visit has three steps: the preparation of your teeth, the creation of a mold, and the addition of temporary veneers. Your teeth will need to be prepared before the veneers can be attached. This means Dr. Kim will need to grind down the outer layer of your enamel. This will create room for the veneers to cover your natural teeth. Next, a mold will be taken so that your custom veneers can be created. Lastly, you will be given temporary veneers to protect your teeth from damage while you wait for your custom veneers to be created.

At your second visit, you will be provided with your custom veneers. Dr. Kim will make sure that you are totally satisfied with the look and feel of your veneers before you have them permanently attached. Once you and Dr. Kim are happy with the look and feel of the veneer, it will be bonded to your tooth.
